Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Lake Charles: Festivals, Pub Crawls & Family Fun
St. Patrick's Day arrives on Friday, March 17, offering endless fun in Lake Charles for adults and families alike. Discover events tailored to every celebration style.
For a full day of festivities, join the 6th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Festival at MacFarlane’s Celtic Pub. It starts early with breakfast at 6 a.m., followed by drink tastings, delicious food, artisan tents, games, and live entertainment.

The Lake Charles Happy Hour Rotary Club hosts its 1st Annual St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl on Friday, March 17. Tickets cost $10 and include a wristband, event koozie, drink and dining specials, giveaways, door prize raffle entries, and more.
Catch DJ Jonas at On the Rocks, and DJ Zeke at OB’s Bar & Grill. Enjoy specials like $5 Irish Car Bombs, $3 Green Tea Shots, $3 Jameson, $3 Guinness, and $3 Bailey’s Shots. Regal Beagle Bar & Lounge offers drink specials, including their famous Green Tea. From 7-11 p.m., Loggerheads Bar features music by Flashback. Crystal’s Downtown serves Green Jell-O shots (free for those over 21 wearing green) and Green Draft Bud Light ($5 pitcher, $1 glass). At Blue Martini starting at 9 p.m., UK band Stanton Warriors performs with Jason Robo and Kemiz.
On March 18, the Lake Area Runners present the Annual Athlete’s Corner St. Patrick’s Day 3 Miler. Register by March 15 for $20 to guarantee a T-shirt. Top male and female finishers win free shoes from Athlete’s Corner; top three in each age group receive gift cards.
From March 13-17, visit The Children’s Museum for St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock ArtSpace activities, where kids create themed art projects. Don’t miss the “Luck of the Irish” Scavenger Hunt that week.
