Santa Under the Oaks – A Magical Christmas Celebration!
Pecan Street in Sulphur evokes the charm of a holiday movie set, with its quaint homes brimming with festive decorations. This year, the neighborhood teams up with the Henning Cultural Center for "Santa Under the Oaks." Enter near Kent Drive and join the “Winter Sleigh Ride” at 923 Ruth St., from 5–8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19. Children can deliver letters to Santa, wave hello to him, and receive goodie bags from helpful elves.

After spotting Santa, park at The Grove Park to immerse yourself in the dazzling displays. Both The Grove and Henning Cultural Center shine with holiday décor, creating ideal spots for photos and evening strolls. Walk down one side of Pecan Street and back the other, enjoying free hot chocolate and candy canes while supplies last.
Many families cherish the tradition of annual photos at the festively adorned Henning Cultural Center. Though the full Christmas Under the Oaks festival was canceled due to storm damage, the Brimstone Historical Society aims to spread holiday joy and thank the community for its unwavering support this year.
