The Lodge at Whitetail Manor, built in 2008, offers a serene country retreat overlooking a pristine 6‑acre lake and rolling hills teeming with white‑tailed deer. The entire property spans 871 acres of hardwood forest and gentle pasture, situated in Springfield—Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace—just 60 minutes from Louisville (Churchill Downs), Lexington (Keeneland), Bardstown (2012 America’s most beautiful small town), Danville, and Lebanon.

Ideal for corporate retreats, family reunions, or a getaway for up to three families, the lodge comfortably hosts 12 guests. The accommodations include a master suite with king bed, private bath, and garden tub; two upstairs bedrooms each with queen beds and en‑suite baths; and three downstairs bedrooms, each featuring two XL twin beds.

The main floor houses a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room seating 8+, a 60" plasma HDTV living area, and a half‑bath. The second floor contains a game room with pool table, darts, poker chips, and a 50" TV. The lower level offers a den with recliners, a 50" plasma TV, a full bathroom with dual sinks, a laundry room, and the three lower bedrooms.

Enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing for bass, crappie, or bluegill in the lake, or simply relax on the wrap‑around deck with swinging chairs and a hammock. Wi‑Fi is available throughout the lodge.

During the hunting season, the property serves as the base for the Whitetail Crossing Hunting Outfitter. Check our calendar for availability.
