Welcome to Chicago Gourmet. Each year, this high-end food festival celebrates the city’s diverse culinary scene. In 2022, Chicago Gourmet will celebrate the return of their signature Grand Tasting event in Millennium Park. Plus, enjoy intimate dinners with acclaimed local chefs, live it up at the elevated Grand Cru tasting, and find the city’s best burger during the beloved Hamburger Hop event.

Chicago Gourmet Grand Tasting
The biggest event of Chicago Gourmet, the Grand Tasting is a culinary tour de force. Taste your way through some of the city’s top restaurants, serving up samples from their tents under the stunning Pritzker Pavilion. Watch your favorite celeb chef give a cooking demo, head to a seminar to brush up on your culinary knowledge, or check out who’s doing cookbook signings. And don’t miss the drink tents offering wine, beer, and spirits tastings.
Hamburger Hop
The highly anticipated Hamburger Hop is back and bigger than ever. An array of local chefs will offer their best burgers for dine-in, delivery, and/or carry out during the month of September. This year’s contestants Bar Sótano, BLVD Steakhouse, Eris Brewey, Funkenhausen, Siena Tavern, and more.
Find your favorite, cast your vote, then join the in-person Hamburger Hop event on the Harris Theatre rooftop. Enjoy burger tastings alongside beer and wine, and find out which local burger reigns supreme.
Go Gourmet Dinner Series
Enjoy an intimate night out during the Go Gourmet dinner series. Many of Chicago’s most acclaimed restaurants are opening their doors for intimate, one-of-a-kind dining experiences throughout the month, including special tasting menus, visits from the chef, wine and cocktail pairings, and more.
Grand Cru
The exclusive Grand Cru event offers an elevated tasting experience. Join the nation’s leading wine experts and top chefs at the Harris Theater rooftop for a truly unforgettable evening. Guests will be able to sample the world’s finest wines and award-winning cuisine at two different sessions.
