The Imperial Theatre, established in 1918, is the only operating historic theatre in Augusta. The theatre provides a home to local performing arts groups, as well as regional touring acts. It is in the Broad Street Historical District and is listed on the National Register as important to the character of the entire district.

Tours of the historic Imperial Theatre should be scheduled in advance by calling the Box Office at 706-722-8341. There is no cost for tours.
