We want to give you a chance to participate in theatrical productions by either acting on stage, working for the crew, helping with other facets of theatre, or visiting the show. We envision this work to be a centerpiece in the regional arts community...open to all...and bringing the community together through the arts.Area Children's Theatre was organized in 2006 to give kids ages 8-19 a chance to participate in theatrical productions by either acting on stage or working with crew!
Area Children's Theatre has two seasons: fall and spring. We typically run a cycle of the following types of productions: Shakespeare (spring), Musical (fall), Comedy (spring), Drama (fall). Children from all over participate in all kinds of roles! From the crew, minor roles, and lead roles! We limit the number of participates to 30 for each season.
