Built in 1915 and on the National Register of Historic Places, the Thomasville Center for the Arts' home is a beautifully restored elementary school building. The center hosts many art exhibits, events and stage performances throughout the year.  Its galleries exhibit artworks from local, state and regional artists in a variety of mediums. The center's stage provides the perfect venue for top international entertainers during the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation's yearly concert series (visit www.tefconcerts.com for upcoming performances). The center is also home to the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival held every November, which features many of America's premier wildlife artists, wildlife exhibits and nature activities. Last, but certainly not least, the Thomasville Center for the Arts offers numerous classes, lectures and workshops for all ages interested in learning about the arts.
