The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts has been your regional community art center since 2003. Our galleries are always free and open to the public. The exhibits change every 6-8 weeks, so there is always something new to see! Because of our generous friends, the Turner Center has become one of South Georgia's most treasured assets. Housed in a converted bank, the Turner Center displays the work of visual artists in six separate exhibition spaces. One gallery displays our permanent collection of East African Art; another houses our permanent collection of Fine European Porcelain.
The Turner Center is open Tuesday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Friday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Guided tours are available by appointment. Opening gallery receptions are free and open to the public. Classes, concerts and other events are offered.
