James Gregory Returns: The Funniest Man in America Takes the Stage at Theatre Dublin Magnolia Midlands Dublin

“The funniest man in America,” James Gregory is coming back to the stage at Theatre Dublin for a rescheduled showing on February 19th! Be sure to grab a seat for a hysterical, laugh-out-loud performance. Other shows on his tour are already sold out, and it will be a packed house.

The Funny Man:
James Gregory is a veteran comedian who has been touring for over two decades. His down-home, storytelling style of comedy reflects on his rural Southern upbringing and life on the front porch. Even after decades of touring, people cannot get enough of Gregory’s hallmark style of belly laughing comedy where he reminisces on old-fashioned values, common-sense wisdom, and a time when life was simpler.

His signature style, wide-eyed and grinning with his arms outstretched, is a welcome comedy experience. His brash humor is not politically correct and is based on his societal observations. He delights in poking fun at modern sensitives, all in good nature, of course, and without the use of vulgarity. “I have lived long enough to know people, know life”, Gregory reflects on his website. “My comedy is based on my life experiences. It’s real, it’s funny and the audience loves it. That’s why I’m still in business.”

Born east of Atlanta in rural Georgia, Gregory began performing at The Punch Line Comedy Club in Atlanta in 1982. He has appeared in concert with names like Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, and Reba McEntire. He is also heard weekly on syndicated radio shows, reaching millions of listeners. Popular material throughout his career includes “It Could Be A Law, I Don’t Know” and a video called “Grease, Gravy & John Wayne’s Momma.”
