The Cedartown Welcome Center, situated in the replica of the historic Seaboard Air Line Railway depot, serves as a gateway to Northwest Georgia’s rich heritage. Located on South Main Street beside the popular Silver Comet Trail, the center offers visitors a convenient hub with brochures, maps, restrooms, vending machines, and a bike‑repair station.

Inside, the museum honors the legacy of Sterling Holloway—the iconic voice behind Winnie the Pooh—through a curated collection of his memorabilia and related novelties. Small, thoughtfully designed exhibits showcase pivotal moments from Cedartown’s past, allowing visitors to connect with the town’s evolution.

The current depot building was constructed in 2004, faithfully replicating the original structure that once served the Seaboard Air Line Railway. By preserving its architectural footprint, the Welcome Center not only honors Cedartown’s transportation history but also provides a tangible link to the city’s community spirit.
