Budatai
My first San Juan dining adventure at Budatai far surpassed expectations. Chef Roberto Treviño, an Iron Chef contestant, masterfully fuses Asian-inspired dishes with Puerto Rican flavors.
Highlights include pork dumplings with shaved truffles, the Geisha Roll (lobster, cream cheese, jicama with meringue kisses), Asian lobster mashed potatoes, spicy tuna pegao, and duck croquetas with Peking sauce.

La Vista Latin Grill
Conveniently on the ground floor of the San Juan Marriott, La Vista Latin Grill serves Puerto Rican-inspired dishes and fresh seafood—ideal for us after indulging in great food and wine.
The grilled sea bass melts in your mouth. Don't skip the empanadas, pear and gorgonzola salad, or sea bass.

Bodegas Compostela
Bodegas Compostela surprised me with dishes I never expected to love, executed to perfection. It boasts an impressive array of wines, champagnes, tapas, and entrées.
Standouts from our tapas spread: octopus carpaccio, rabbit stew, duck confit, and the lobster soup of the day. Finish with every dessert on the menu—you won't regret it.

BUNS Burger Shop
This hidden gem, right across from our hotel, is perfect for a relaxed lunch with craft beers. BUNS excels in burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, fries, and shakes, with an extensive beer selection.
