The inspiration struck at a friend's Disney-themed party where I dressed as Cinderella in a stunning, discounted gown found online.
I'm not one for extravagant costumes—I rarely dress up even for Halloween—but this affordable dress was irresistible.
At the party, I truly felt like a princess. Every woman should experience it once.
Determined not to let it gather dust, I envisioned wearing it on solo trips, sparking this photo series.
Stuffing this massive gown into suitcases or hauling it on hikes feels crazy—especially in snow—and onlookers must question my sanity. But the breathtaking results make every effort worthwhile.
I often hear from women and men wondering if solo travel is scary. Friends call me fearless for flying alone, but I'm far from it.
Anxiety lingers even after countless trips. What keeps me going? Cherished memories like my week in Wales and the kindness of strangers worldwide.
Overcoming those fears unlocks extraordinary experiences. These images capture the beauty of facing them head-on.
