10 Stunning Photos from Our Croatia Sailing Adventure: Why You Need to Go
Discovering Croatia's breathtaking coastline by sail is one of the most rewarding ways to explore this stunning country. Hop between charming ports each night, enjoying the freedom of the sea without the hassle of renting or driving a car.
Sailing Croatia had long been a dream of mine. I finally convinced my partner, Scott, to join despite his seasickness concerns. When Yacht Getaways—a sister company of MedSailors—invited us on one of their itineraries, it was the perfect opportunity. In early September, we spent a week aboard a shared catamaran with four private cabins. We had an incredible time with our fellow sailors, forging lasting friendships. Scott avoided seasickness entirely, thanks to preventive medication!
Based on our firsthand experience, we highly recommend this trip. Below, we've shared 10 of our favorite photos, plus essential tips and packing advice.

The Best Time to Sail Croatia
Croatia enjoys sunny, warm weather from May to October. For fewer crowds, opt for shoulder seasons (May, June, September, October). Occasional storms may occur but typically last just 1-2 days, leaving ample sunshine for the rest of your voyage.
Essential Packing for Croatia Sailing
