4. Uncover History in Darwin and Goose Green
Seventy miles from Stanley, Goose Green and Darwin (named after the HMS Beagle's 1833 visitor) hold Falklands War echoes from 1982. Memorials and marked minefields line the scenic half-hour walk between them.
