How Visit Myrtle Beach Leverages Google Display Network to Boost Grand Strand Awareness
To promote Myrtle Beach's accommodations, restaurants, and attractions to the broadest possible audience, VisitMyrtleBeach.com launched a targeted campaign on the Google Display Network, significantly increasing awareness of this iconic destination.
Since its inception, the Google Display Network has driven one-third of the Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau's website traffic. It also amplifies the branding impact of Myrtle Beach's television advertisements.
The platform enables the CVB to exclude underperforming sites or those misaligned with the Myrtle Beach brand, ensuring ad placements reflect the destination's high standards.
This initiative keeps past, present, and future visitors informed about the latest events and offerings in Myrtle Beach, a top vacation spot attracting 15 million visitors annually.
"More than ever, travelers are going online to plan and book vacations, and we need to ensure our message is in front of them," said Scott Schult, executive vice president of marketing at the Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
