Cinco de Myrtle, a free festival honoring Hispanic culture and kicking off summer, runs May 4th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. Highlights include live music, food trucks, Mexican beers, spicy eating contests, a fútbol skills competition, and a kids' zone with inflatables, piñatas, and a petting zoo.
El Cerro Grande, a newly renovated Mexican restaurant across from Broadway at the Beach, pairs perfectly with high-energy Señor Frogs. On May 4th, Señor Frogs hosts a 5K race—a double loop around Broadway starting at 8:30 a.m.—followed by complimentary breakfast and live music.
Nacho Hippo's two Grand Strand locations in Market Common and North Myrtle Beach feature live music, food and drink specials, and giveaways.
