Banditos Cantina, an oceanfront favorite, offers fantastic outdoor seating. Enjoy weekend drink specials and games, DJ sets Friday-Sunday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and daily $5 Altos Blanco Margaritas starting at 4 p.m. Savor their inventive Southwestern-Mexican menu and extensive tequila selection.

Cinco de Myrtle, a free festival honoring Hispanic culture and kicking off summer, runs May 4th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. Highlights include live music, food trucks, Mexican beers, spicy eating contests, a fútbol skills competition, and a kids' zone with inflatables, piñatas, and a petting zoo.

El Cerro Grande, a newly renovated Mexican restaurant across from Broadway at the Beach, pairs perfectly with high-energy Señor Frogs. On May 4th, Señor Frogs hosts a 5K race—a double loop around Broadway starting at 8:30 a.m.—followed by complimentary breakfast and live music.

Nacho Hippo's two Grand Strand locations in Market Common and North Myrtle Beach feature live music, food and drink specials, and giveaways. In Market Common, join Taste of Market Common on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: buy $1 food tickets to sample dishes while enjoying music, kids' activities, and an end-of-season sidewalk sale. It's also opening day for the Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Deville Street, with local produce, baked goods, and handmade items.
