Background: Mountain Creek House Fire is the dynamic duo of Robert Lovett and Pattee Wilbanks, blending Americana, bluegrass, classic country, and original tunes with deep roots influences. Robert, a Texas-born singer/songwriter, brings an authentic Americana style honed through two original solo CDs influenced by bluegrass and country blues. His path led him to Chattanooga via Texas, Nashville, and Knoxville, where he has found a true home in the Scenic City. Pattee has graced Chattanooga's stages since the mid-'80s with various folk and bluegrass bands, excelling on guitar, mandolin, and clawhammer banjo while delivering heartfelt vocals and beautifully personal songs with captivating melodies. Their complementary writing styles forge a shining musical partnership. They have released the EP "Can't Be Where I Am" and a new CD "Listen Local," highlighting their meticulously crafted Americana songs. Building momentum, they've performed on radio, TV, in coffee houses, restaurants, festivals, and venues like the Nightfall series last summer. Their passion for Americana fuels ongoing creativity, exemplifying the best of homegrown Tennessee music.
