Top NYC Pride 2019 Parties: Broadway Bares, WorldPride Concerts with Madonna & More
NYC Pride 2019 culminates with the iconic Pride March on June 30, but the month-long celebration features over 50 events, including unforgettable parties, concerts, and gatherings. As experts in New York City's vibrant LGBTQ+ scene, we've curated the must-attend highlights for an exhilarating Pride experience.
Broadway Bares
Since the early 1990s, Broadway's top singers and dancers have dazzled audiences with this renowned burlesque fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Performers deliver striptease routines to classic show tunes, often joined by celebrity guests like Alison Janney and Judith Light. The 2019 "Take-Off" theme promises aviation-inspired antics and playful Mile High Club humor.
Two shows are scheduled for the evening of June 16, with the midnight performance being the raunchiest. Though not an official Pride event, Broadway Bares is a quintessential NYC extravaganza with a rainbow flair—all proceeds support a vital cause.
