Le Rêve at Wynn Las Vegas: The Ultimate Underwater Dream Show Worth Every Vegas Visit
While Las Vegas dazzles with high-roller penthouse suites and VIP sky lounges, one of its most spectacular experiences unfolds at ground level—immersed in over a million gallons of water.
We're referring to Le Rêve—The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas, acclaimed as the city's top production show for a record nine consecutive years by the prestigious Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Association.
Le Rêve traces the Dreamer's enchanting journey through a surreal realm, torn between true love and a shadowy allure—heightened by live musicians and singers subtly positioned in the wings. Yet, the captivating storyline is matched by mesmerizing water effects, dynamic dance, and breathtaking acrobatics. Our recent visit confirmed the hype surrounding this production.
Discover four compelling reasons to book Le Rêve immediately, whether your Vegas trip is planned or just a dream away.
Even if you’ve seen Le Rêve before, it’s entirely refreshed
Recently reimagined, the show offers a fresh experience for returning audiences. Highlights include a new score with 13 original songs; redesigned costumes by a Broadway veteran; choreography from the first Emmy winner of three consecutive Outstanding Choreography awards; and lighting by a Tony Award-winning team—with enhancements throughout.
No bad seats in this intimate venue
Theater-in-the-round design ensures every one of the 1,600 Wynn Theater seats is within 42 feet of the stage, providing optimal views.
Seating preferences vary: Front rows offer a splash zone for immersive thrills; mid-rows capture performers' expressions best; Dream Seats in the rear are luxurious with foot-level HDTV monitors showing real-time underwater action, like scuba stagehands or divers emerging.
The behind-the-scenes production is extraordinary
Water features in nearly every scene make Le Rêve far more complex than typical shows, requiring 14 scuba-equipped stagehands throughout the 80-minute performance. The stage functions like a French press, rising and plunging, with performers and props poised underwater.
The 94 performers, including six former Olympians, complete scuba certification beforehand. They use underwater hookahs for oxygen while awaiting cues.
Costumes and wigs are meticulously cleaned post-show, repaired daily, yet last only six weeks due to water exposure. Props undergo rigorous water-resistance testing to meet production standards.
Dive deeper with an exclusive underwater experience
The unique Diver’s Dream package provides unparalleled backstage access, including the performers' fitness studio and a dive into the tank (scuba certification required).
Guided by the diving team, you'll learn signals and watch a live Le Rêve performance from nine feet underwater. Includes two nights at Wynn or Encore Resort Room and Dream Seat tickets.
