World's Longest Glass Bridge in China's Hebei Province: A 488-Meter Thrill 218 Meters High
Thrill-seekers take note: The world's longest glass-bottomed bridge in China's Hebei Province offers a breathtaking walk suspended 218 meters above a stunning valley.

Stretching 488 meters across steep cliffs in the Hongyagu Scenic Area, this 4-meter-wide engineering marvel provides panoramic views of surrounding mountains and waterfalls through its transparent glass floor.

Constructed with over 1,000 panels of high-strength transparent glass, visitors must wear protective 'shoe gloves' to prevent damage. For added excitement, the bridge gently sways at its center—without the simulated cracking sounds found on some other bridges, like those in Hebei's East Taihang Scenic Area.

Engineered to be fully windproof and capable of supporting up to 2,000 people, capacity is limited to 500 visitors at a time for safety. Staff members are positioned along the bridge to assist anyone overcoming their fears.

The Hongyagu Bridge is China's latest addition to its impressive array of glass bridges. While it holds the record for length, the tallest remains the 300-meter-high bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.
