Explore Atlanta from Home: Virtual Attraction Tour

There are lots of things to love about Atlanta, and you can visit them all without leaving home. We've gathered up a few creative ways the ATL is staying connected and keeping you entertained. Check in on the Georgia Aquarium and Zoo Atlanta animals, or find at-home learning resources from our favorite attractions. You can even join in on "Field Trip Fridays," where visitors of all ages can take a digital field trip around Atlanta and participate in interactive activities and exhibits from the comfort of their own homes.

Georgia Aquarium

As Atlanta and the rest of the world continue to navigate uncharted waters, it's business as usual in a lot of ways at Georgia Aquarium. From Tank the green sea turtle enjoying his lettuce snacks, to sea otters being provided their usual enrichment, the animal care continues on. You can get a live look at the African Penguin or beluga whale webcams among many others. The aquarium has also provided at-home learning resources. For a dose of pure joy, don't forget to check out the videos of puppies and kittens from the Atlanta Humane Society visiting the aquatic creatures.

World of Coca-Cola

We might all be practicing physical distance right now, but we can daydream about the days we can share an ice-cold Coca-Cola together again. Explore the exhibits online, and learn about everything there is to experience at World of Coca-Cola. Learn about the origins of the secret formula or celebrate life's everyday moments of happiness. Share your very own memories by using #WorldofCocaCola.

Zoo Atlanta

From virtual tours of the petting zoo, "Animal Tails" book readings, and of course the world-famous Panda Cams, Zoo Atlanta is staying connected and taking care of all the animals. Explore the Keeper Stories video archives and learning resources, easy-to-use lessons that range in content and age level. Follow the zoo's Facebook page for daily updates.

National Center for Civil and Human Rights

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights has gone digital for the time being, but the core remains the same. They want you to explore the fundamental rights of all human beings and leave empowered to join the conversation in your own community. Follow the "Power to Inspire: Virtual Series." It includes workshops, panels, interviews, storytimes and more that cover the work of civil and human rights defenders across the globe and touch on stories of humanity impacting all of us today. You can also follow announcements on the Center's social handles.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Fernbank may be closed, but that won't stop their mission to ignite a passion for science, nature and human culture through exploration and discovery. From Field Trip Fridays to the Science Adventures video series, they're providing exceptional educational and entertaining content for you to enjoy from home. Explore their Museum at Home page for all the good stuff.

College Football Hall of Fame

Every Tuesday and Thursday, you can stay in the game with College Football Hall of Fame as they present their Facts and Artifacts livestream with Historian and Curator Jeremy Swick. They've also joined forces with Atlanta's top museums and attractions for Field Trip Fridays to provide virtual experiences. Follow along on Facebook for the latest updates.
