Tiffins Restaurant Opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: A Culinary Journey

Tiffins Restaurant is now open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando.

Amid the lush jungle setting of Disney’s Animal Kingdom®, Tiffins Restaurant offers a culinary oasis that redefines theme‑park dining in Orlando. Guests looking for a quiet retreat and adventurous foodies alike will find a fresh, globally inspired experience waiting.

Named after the stackable metal lunch carriers seen around the world, Tiffins showcases flavors that echo the park’s diverse regions—from African savannahs to Southeast Asian rainforests.

With the ambiance of a vibrant art gallery, the space features artwork and artifacts collected by Walt Disney Imagineers during their travels, adding depth to every dish.

We sampled several menu highlights, including a quick “Taste of Tiffins” lunch sampler. Our favorites were:

  • Hoisin‑Glazed Halibut atop Forbidden Rice, Swiss chard, bok choy, and turmeric sauce.
  • Grilled Head‑On Prawns with tomatoes, roasted fennel, olives, and sea urchin butter.
  • Roasted Market Vegetable Curry featuring millet, spring vegetables, and lime chutney.
  • Wagyu Strip Loin & Braised Short Rib paired with rainbow carrots, roasted Peruvian potatoes, and Chimichurri.
  • Delicious desserts like Calamansi Mousse, Lime Cheesecake, Passion‑Fruit Tapioca Crème, and South American Chocolate Ganache.

The adjacent Nomad Lounge is the largest lounge on Walt Disney World property, seating over 100 guests and boasting an expansive outdoor area that feels more like a remote jungle resort than a theme‑park amenity.

Our top drinks at the Nomad Lounge were the Hightower Rocks and Snow Leopard Salvation—refreshing and flavorful pairings for a day in the park.
