The New York Times and Forbes recently lauded Orlando’s homegrown cuisine and distinctive experiences. Now the Chicago Tribune joins the chorus.
Published on April 13, 2018, the reputable news outlet praised several Orlando‑area eateries. Featured establishments include Soco Restaurant, Prato, 1921 Mount Dora, Korea House, Sanctum Cafe, Hunger Street Tacos, Se7en Bites, The Polite Pig, and Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Florida Kitchen at Disney Springs®, part of Walt Disney World® Resort.
The Tribune also highlighted two of the city’s most unique outdoor attractions: the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour, showcasing one of Central Florida’s most picturesque cities, and Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, where guests can glide through the Florida Everglades at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
Orlando’s growing arts scene received attention as well. Recommendations include the Orlando Museum of Art, the art collection at downtown Orlando’s Grand Bohemian Hotel, and The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park.
