Get ready for MegaCon Orlando 2019, returning May 16‑19 at the Orange County Convention Center. The largest comics, sci‑fi, horror, anime and gaming showcase in the Southeast will bring stars, cosplay battles, rare collectibles and immersive panels for fans of all ages.
From May 16‑19, MegaCon Orlando returns to the Orange County Convention Center as the region’s premier pop‑culture event, boasting more than 400,000 sq ft of exhibit space, over 1,000 exhibitors, and a lineup of celebrity guests, cosplay competitions and exclusive collectibles.
Meet Your Favorite Stars
MegaCon has become a magnet for high‑profile talent. 2019’s lineup features Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Peter Weller (RoboCop), David Tennant (Doctor Who) and many more. Fans can snap photos, secure autographs and even chat with the actors during exclusive meet‑and‑greet sessions.
Classic film cast reunions are also on the agenda: Back to the Future (Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Tom Wilson, James Tolkan), Young Guns (Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips), The Lost Boys (Sutherland, Jason Patric, Corey Feldman), The Goonies (Feldman, Sean Astin, Ke Huy Quan) and Boy Meets World (Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, Ben Savage, Rider Strong). New appearances will be announced as the event approaches.
Cosplay: From Panels to Photo Ops
If dressing as your favorite hero is your passion, MegaCon is the place to showcase your costume. Hundreds of cosplayers will compete in the regional qualifier for the Masters of Cosplay Grand Prix, with the winner earning a spot at FAN EXPO Canada for a shot at the Master title.
Workshops, panels and meet‑ups will guide you through costume construction, makeup and performance. A dedicated Cosplay Photo Park offers professional backdrops and props, allowing you to capture stunning images on site.
For those who prefer casual observation, the event’s vibrant community provides a living gallery of creative expression. Additionally, you’ll see physical replicas of iconic pop‑culture gear— from Stormtrooper blasters to the Doctor Who TARDIS— that, while non‑functional, are impressive displays of craftsmanship.

Ben Affleck as Batman at Madame Tussauds Orlando
While in town, consider a visit to Madame Tussauds Orlando, just a short walk from the convention center. The museum features lifelike wax figures of the Justice League, complete with interactive elements and prop replicas that bring the 2017 film to life.
Other attractions such as Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, SeaWorld® Orlando and LEGOLAND® Florida Resort® host themed experiences that resonate with fans of DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Sesame Street and The LEGO Movie.
Shop, Collect, and Discover
With more than 400,000 sq ft of retail space, MegaCon hosts 1,000+ exhibitors offering comics, toys, games, apparel, wall art, replicas and unique memorabilia. Direct purchases from creators in Artist Alley provide an intimate connection to the creative process.
Attendees can also access exclusive items—variant covers, limited‑edition toys and one‑of‑a‑kind collectibles—available only at the convention.
Expert Panels and Interactive Sessions
The schedule features panels, Q&A sessions, workshops and seminars that give fans inside access to beloved franchises. You’ll have the chance to ask questions directly to creators and performers. A full event timetable will be released one week before opening day.
