Make a Splash at Water Parks

For endless wet and wild adventures, dive into Orlando’s water parks. Some of the best are operated by our theme parks, including Universal’s Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort, Aquatica® Orlando at SeaWorld Orlando, Disney’s Blizzard Beach® Water Park at Walt Disney World Resort, and LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park, with access to the latter available as an upgrade to regular admission at LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s theme park. (Please note that Aquatica Orlando is scheduled to reopen on Feb. 27, 2021, and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is scheduled to reopen on March 7, 2021. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park is currently closed until further notice.)

Dive Into Resort Pools

Throughout Orlando, resort pools are open for business! They also come equipped with a mind‑blowing array of features, such as lazy rivers, water slides, underwater sound systems, secluded grottos, and plenty of fun for kids and adults alike.

Some of Orlando’s most amazing pools include those at Orlando World Center Marriott and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in the Walt Disney World Resort Area, as well as Hilton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes closer to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld. But no matter where you’re staying, chances are they’ll have a pool — be sure to dive in!

Play Tennis Like a Pro

Tennis, anyone? Located in Orlando’s Lake Nona neighborhood, less than 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus does not just host pro practices and tournaments. It also features the Nemours Family Zone, which gives you the opportunity to play like a pro — for free — on a first‑come, first‑served basis!

The USTA National Campus also offers a full range of training programs for all ages and skillsets, as well as an unparalleled pro shop offering onsite racket customization services. Plus, visiting this facility is a great opportunity to check out everything else Lake Nona has in store for you!

Go Wild Outdoors

As previously noted, spring brings some of Orlando’s most gorgeous weather — so get out there and make the most of it! Fly high with zip‑line operators like Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park and the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line at Gatorland… and yes, you will soar over alligators on the latter!

You can go even higher at Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding Flight Park, or keep it on the ground at Revolution Adventures. If you prefer setting your own pace, the 21‑mile West Orange Trail is a paved, amenity‑packed pathway that stretches from Winter Garden in the south to Apopka in the north. It’s perfect for hiking or biking, and you can rent bicycles from West Orange Trail Bikes & Blades Co. in Winter Garden. They’ll even deliver to your hotel!

Rejuvenate at a Spa

For some quality downtime, check into one of our exceptional spas with out‑of‑this‑world options. For example, The Ritz‑Carlton Spa, Orlando, Grande Lakes, has more than 40 treatment rooms, plus hot stone massage.

At the theme parks, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort both have a Mandara Spa, offering a full range of exotic services to help you achieve nirvana. And that’s just the start of the unique spas that are ready to whisk you away in Orlando!
