3 Must‑See LGBTQ+ Events This Holiday Season in Dallas
Dallas is pulsing with LGBTQ+ holiday celebrations. Whether you want to give back, enjoy the arts, or toast with friends, these three events are a must‑see.
Wrap Party hosted by Black Tie Dinner
W Hotel; Dec. 7 – 6:30‑8:30pm
Black Tie Dinner is the world’s most celebrated LGBTQ+ fundraiser. Since 1988, the event has raised over $22 million for 20 North Texas charities. Admission is free, and all proceeds go directly to the community.
Turtle Creek Chorale
Moody Performance Hall; Dec. 7‑10
The Turtle Creek Chorale, Dallas’s longest‑running gay men’s chorus, was founded in 1980 and boasts more than 200 singers. Their holiday concerts consistently sell out. This year’s “Snowflakes” concert offers a unique, festive experience, while a kid‑friendly version on Dec. 9 features sing‑al‑ongs, classics, and a visit from Santa.
Teddy Bear Party
Hall of State at Fair Park; Dec. 16 – 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
The sixth annual Teddy Bear Party turns the holiday spirit into philanthropy: each guest donates a teddy bear that is given to the Children’s Research Medical Center. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $110 k for local advocacy groups. This year, LA‑based DJs The Perry Twins and singer Christine W will set the party’s tone.
