Explore Dallas’ New Food Hall: Insider Tips for a Perfect Visit

Just in time for summer, The Exchange Hall at the AT&T Discovery District has opened to the public. Owned by AT&T, the food hall will feature 16 eateries, showcasing renowned Dallas restaurants and chefs. As one of the newest attractions in Downtown Dallas, a visit to the district is a must – here’s how to make your outing unforgettable!

Pre‑game your options.

With 16 choices on the menu, picking just one can be challenging. The lineup ranges from tacos at Revolver Taco and burgers at Bobbers to coastal fare at The Dock and Mediterranean street food from Baboushi. For familiar comfort, Zalat offers pizza and Monkey King Noodle Co. delivers authentic Chinese street dishes. Dessert is covered as well, with Dallas favorite Val’s Cheesecake serving its famous family recipes, and La Duni and Press Waffle Co. adding sweet options.

Make parking a breeze.

Valet service is available seven days a week from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. – 1 a.m. on weekends. The public garage at 1212 Jackson St. offers ample space; it provides free guest parking after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Grab validation from any restaurant before heading back to your car!

Divide and conquer.

To sample everything, bring a group and have each person order from a different stall. The first to receive food can reserve a table—indoor or outdoor—and keep the space until everyone is ready to eat.

Skip the lunch rush.

The AT&T Discovery District hosts AT&T’s headquarters and four nearby office towers, so employees often lead the lunch line. Arriving just before or after the rush will help you avoid crowds—though the stalls are always prepped for eager visitors.

Find vegetarian/vegan options.

Several stalls feature vegan dishes, such as stir‑fry items at Monkey King Noodle Co. and an Impossible patty melt at Rise & Thyme. Baboushi also lists vegetarian‑friendly selections. Keep an eye out for more as you explore.

Don’t forget your drinks!

Pair your meal with a fountain drink, then refill at the soda station, or visit the downstairs bar for a cocktail. The second floor hosts Hard Shake, offering handcrafted cocktails and two additional dining venues.

Get a taste of Disney.

Disney enthusiasts will delight in a Dole Whip on the Bobbers menu—an ice‑cream treat featuring pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. Bonus: the whip is vegan!
