Explore the Perot Museum’s Latest Exhibit: LEGO‑Makers Build the Towers of Tomorrow
If you’ve ever dreamed of turning your childhood LEGO® building sessions into a professional architectural career, the Perot Museum of Nature & Science’s newest exhibit—Towers of Tomorrow—delivers exactly that inspiration.
Open through April 24, 2022, this interactive showcase invites visitors to step into the shoes of a LEGO® architect and explore more than 20 meticulously reconstructed skyscrapers from around the globe, including New York’s Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, and Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. Each model is accompanied by detailed explanations of its design, construction process, and the specific LEGO® bricks required.
The architectural fidelity comes from Ryan McNaught, one of only 21 LEGO® Certified Professionals worldwide. His expertise ensures every stud, curve, and façade is reproduced with precision—exactly the kind of craftsmanship that turns a child’s imagination into a real‑world prototype.
Visitors are not merely observers. With over 200,000 loose LEGO® bricks available, the exhibit features dedicated build stations where guests can design and assemble their own miniature towers, fostering hands‑on learning and creative problem‑solving.
LEGO® bricks are more than play; they’re a catalyst for STEM growth. The Perot Museum leverages this to ignite curiosity in visitors of all ages, offering a safe, engaging environment that encourages “aha” moments and future career exploration.
For safety, all bricks are sanitized daily using the same technology employed on commercial aircraft, and hand‑sanitizing stations are available throughout the venue. Masks remain mandatory for all guests.
Operating hours are Monday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., closed Tuesday, Wednesday–Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.–5 p.m. To experience Towers of Tomorrow, purchase the “Towers of Tomorrow Bundle” (General Admission + Exhibition) for $28 (non‑members).
