Celino South Beach: Miami's Glamorous New Boutique Hotel on Ocean Drive

Celino South Beach: Miami s Glamorous New Boutique Hotel on Ocean Drive

Celino South Beach
South Beach, Florida
Classy, $$$ (from $259)

Miami, say hello to Celino South Beach, the sparkly new boutique bringing 1940s glamour to Ocean Drive. The property, formerly the Park Central Hotel, was once a hangout for stars like Clark Gable and Humphrey Bogart, as well as was the birthplace of the conga line dance, which was invented during a New Years Eve party in 1940. Today, the celebration continues after a $110 million makeover that transformed the hotel into a full-service luxury oasis with tropical modern decor, a glass-bottomed rooftop pool, and two restaurants slated to open at the end of December — the makings of a South Beach classic.
