Hometown: Hinsdale, Illinois.

Favorite destinations: South of France, Ireland, Chicago, Maui. 

Dying to visit: Russia and South Africa.

Bizarre travel rituals: I don't know if this is bizarre, but I always travel with a robe and slipper socks.

In-flight relaxation regime: I close my eyes. Something about flying knocks me out. I've been known to fall asleep during the assent and wake up during landing.

Always in carry-on: Socks (my feet are always cold), Air Repair Rescue Balm, Herban Essential Eucalyptus wipes, weekly magazines.

Concierge or DIY? Both.

See it all or take it easy? Depends on where I am in the world. My fave vacations are when I can alternate between a relaxing beach/spa day and an explore/adventure day. 

Drive or be driven? Drive. I have control issues.

Weirdest thing seen on travels: A guy getting arrested on an overnight train in France for touching women's feet.

Best hotel amenity: A pool and a nice gym.

I dream about my meal at The Celt in Dublin. AMAZING fish and chips!!   

Everywhere I go, I check out the supermarkets.

When I arrive in a new place, I learn the lay of the land by walking around. 

I always bring home postcards from the places I visited.

I travel for the love of seeing new places, for the adventure, and to experience different cultures.
