Red, White, Blue & You Festival: Celebrate July 4th in Lake Charles, Louisiana
Summer is in full swing in Southwest Louisiana, and the Red, White, Blue & You Festival is a cornerstone of Lake Charles' 4th of July celebrations. Families and friends gather under the stars on blankets or boats for a spectacular fireworks display, filled with oohs and aahs as the sky lights up.

The festivities begin with a star-spangled community street parade rolling through downtown Lake Charles. Participants are encouraged to decorate vehicles, golf carts, or bicycles. The family-friendly route starts at Mill Street, heads south on Ryan Street, and ends at Lock Park/7th Street—perfect for kids to join with ribbon-adorned bikes and wagons.

Following the parade, enjoy the folksy sounds of the Market Blue Bluegrass band at the Arcade Pavilion in the Lake Charles Civic Center. The evening continues with a patriotic concert and sing-along by the Lake Charles Community Band and Louisiana Choral Foundation, honoring the Armed Forces.

The grand finale is a breathtaking fireworks show starting around 9:15 p.m. Arrive early at the seawall for prime viewing, or watch from a boat on the lake for an even more spectacular perspective.
From parades and live music to fireworks and community spirit, the Red, White, Blue & You Festival offers the perfect way to celebrate America's Independence Day in Lake Charles.
