Beat the Heat: Signature Cocktails from Ember Grille & Wine Bar at L’Auberge Casino Resort

Lake Charles summers are scorching, making it the perfect time for our Summer Cocktail Series. At Ember Grille & Wine Bar in L’Auberge Casino Resort, expert bartender and cocktail creator Kelly Bistok crafts refreshing drinks like the Bayou Sidecar—a twist on the classic Sidecar—and the light, breezy White Linen gin cocktail infused with St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur and cucumber.

The Bayou Sidecar showcases two premium Bayou Rums from Louisiana Spirits Distillery in Lacassine, LA, including the new Bayou Rum Select, aged at least two years. "It’s a beautiful aged rum, perfect for sipping," Kelly notes.

This modern American steakhouse offers prime beef cooked to perfection on a wood-fired grill, top-tier seafood, tableside service, and indulgent desserts. Enjoy prix-fixe menus Sunday through Friday: appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $40, with wine pairings for $10 more.

The wine list impresses with over 200 bottles and 21 by-the-glass options, constantly evolving. Kelly also recommends the newly renovated Favorites Southern Kitchen, open 24/7 for authentic bistro fare.
