Appreciating its country life is a unique experience. Its rich soils became one of the most fertile zones in Mexico and gave it the name of “The Barn of Mexico”.

 

It was in the XVI century when Hacienda Jalapa, one of the biggest and wealthiest in the state, settled here. During The Cristero War, its territory was reduced, but we can still see different parts of the building and even a little museum.
