Callanwolde is a historic estate and Atlanta's home for music, visual, literary and performing arts education. The Center enriches the lives of thousands of metropolitan Atlantans year-round as they enjoy historic tours, jazz concerts, gallery exhibits, poetry readings, storytelling evenings and outreach programs. Callanwolde Fine Arts Center also offers nearly 200 classes and workshops each quarter for all ages in the visual, literary and performing arts. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Tudor Revival style 27,000 square foot mansion set on a 12 acre estate in Atlanta's Druid Hills neighborhood, was built in 1920 as the home of Charles Howard Candler, eldest son of The Coca-Cola Company founder Asa Candler.
