West Point
The West Point Depot is the historic site for transfer of freight between Montgomery and Atlanta in the late 1800s. Following extensive restorations, the depot now serves as a visitor center, museum, and entertainment facility. It has become a central location for information on the local community and its history. West Point Freight Depot was built in 1887 and added to the National Registry of Historical Places on February 24, 2005.
