Located in the community of Peckerwoood near the town of Gillsville, Peckerwood Pottery is owned and operated by potter Mary Griffin. Griffin became interested in pottery after her husband built her an art studio in their back yard. She took classes at The Dirt Bag Pottery in Clarkesville and at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. Griffin also wood carvings, painting and murals. Stop by and visit!
