Our professionally staffed theater program produces a full season of live stage productions including comedy, drama, musicals, children's theatre, concerts and special events. We receive enthusiastic support from the community, and usually play to capacity audiences. Most of our theater performances are done in dinner theater format. Fort Gordon is the winner of the prestigious Irving Berlin Award for programming excellence as the Army's Best Entertainment Program for 2005. Also in 2005, Fort Gordon took first place honors as winner of the Army Festival of the Performing Arts, bringing home additional first place drama awards for Best Show, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Set Design, Best Lighting Design and more.
