157th Annual Winter Muster Honors Fort McAllister’s 1864 Defense Coastal Georgia Richmond Hill Saturday, Dec 11, 2021 10 AM to 4 PM - Fort McAllister State Park - Richmond Hill, GA - Go back in time to Dec. 11th, 1864, two days before William T. Sherman's force of over 3000 Federal troops descended upon the fort. Soldiers in the fort will be preparing for the coming battle. See artillery and small arms drills, period medicine, and cooking demonstrations. There will not be a tactical demonstration (final battle) this year.
