North Georgia Live Steamers: Authentic Train Rides & Family Fun

Trains will begin operation at 1 p.m. Rides will conclude with the last train at 4:30 p.m. The cost to ride a train is $2 per person.

All participants must be 18 months or older to ride on the railroad. We also cannot allow expectant mothers to ride on the railroad at this time.

We do have restroom facilities and offer light snacks and drinks for sale.

The North Georgia Live Steamers (NGLS) is an incorporated non-profit miniature outdoor railroad club that encourages and assists others interested in the construction of scale steam engines, locomotives, and railroad equipment through fellowship with others in the Live Steam hobby.

NGLS promotes the history of Live Steam by educating those interested (especially young people) in the skills and techniques needed to build, maintain and operate miniature and full-size steam equipment. Members build signals, bridges, tunnels – track, everything needed to operate a railroad.
