Quadrum Ski & Yoga Resort: Innovative Shipping Container Hotel in Georgia's Caucasus Mountains
Minimalist Design, Panoramic Views
Perched at 7,200 feet in Georgia's Caucasus Mountains, Quadrum Ski & Yoga Resort exemplifies creative reuse in an alpine setting. Opened in February 2017, the five-level structure features stacked, wood-paneled container units that cascade down the hillside, securely supported by steel poles at the base.
Luxurious Accommodations
The hotel's interior seamlessly blends sleek, modern design with cozy, home-like comfort, perfectly complementing its exterior.
The standout feature: breathtaking mountainside views from every accommodation, each equipped with a private terrace. Standout options include the deluxe suite with two separate rooms, three terraces, and a private Jacuzzi. Other choices are standard single and double rooms, plus a family suite accommodating up to five guests across two living spaces.

Affordable, Untouched Skiing
While less renowned than the Alps, the Caucasus Mountains deliver pristine terrain at a fraction of the cost. Heli-skiing here is half the price of Switzerland. The nearest ski lift is just a five-minute walk away, with an on-site ski depot for guest convenience.
Exciting Future Expansions
Quadrum has ambitious plans, including an on-site addition with a swimming pool, yoga studio, sauna, restaurant, and more rooms. The hotel will close from April through December next year for these enhancements.
