Alabama Theatre Myrtle Beach: Must-See Summer Shows and Star-Studded Guest Performances

Myrtle Beach is renowned for its exceptional live entertainment venues, offering everything from medieval dinner shows and pirate adventures to holiday extravaganzas and tribute concerts. A standout favorite is the iconic Alabama Theatre at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Launched in 1993 by country music legends Alabama, the theatre delivers two blockbuster musical variety productions each year. From February through October, catch nightly performances of ONE The New Show. Come holiday season, it transforms into The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, a dazzling array of festive hits.
During peak summer, ONE The New Show captivates with a stellar cast of singers and dancers performing country, gospel, Broadway, pop, and rock classics, backed by cutting-edge sound and lighting. Standouts include emcee Greg Rowles, a multi-talented guitarist, singer, and comedian who connects effortlessly with audiences, and Ricky Mokel, whose hilarious 'down-home' antics steal the show. Performances start at 7:30 p.m., six nights a week—plenty of opportunities for an unforgettable night out.
On select evenings when the main cast rests, the Alabama Theatre spotlights guest artists from Motown, pop, country, and comedy. Highlights include:
June 30, 2019 - Bee Gees Gold: A Tribute to the Bee Gees
July 6, 2019 - Forever Motown
