Read on for your action-packed guys’ weekend itinerary in Miami, and don’t plan on getting too much sleep.

Day One: On the Water, On the Scene

Morning

You’re in Miami, so first on the agenda is hitting the beach. Grab breakfast at Local House a couple of blocks from the sand, and fuel up on their smoked beef skillet or huevos rancheros. As you let your food settle while gazing out at the turquoise ocean, you’ll find the urge to get out onto the water irresistible. Have some fun with it – rent jet-skis or a boat for the afternoon at BouYah Watersports, a short walk from the restaurant.

Afternoon

Once you’ve gotten your adrenaline rush on the water, it’s time for an afternoon pool party. The best one on the beach is at the Goodtime Hotel, where pastels and prosecco are the name of the poolside game. Just off the pool, you can enjoy kebabs and other middle eastern specialties at Strawberry Moon, a restaurant by David Grutman and Pharrell Williams that serves light Mediterranean fare ideal for an afternoon of revelry.

Evening

Cap off your first full day in town with an epic steak dinner at Prime 112. The Lauded South Beach restaurant brings a celebrity scene and a fantastic meal; here, prime aged steaks share the stage with some of the most beautiful people in Miami. From there, it’s a short walk to South Beach’s best club, Story. If you’re up for a ride, LIV is only a few miles up Collins Avenue at the Fontainebleau. End the night with a slice at quintessential late-night pizza spot Pizza Rustica, or soak up the booze with a rice bowl from Sriracha House.

Day Two: Culture & Clubbing

Morning

You may have had a long night at LIV, but nothing will make you feel better, faster, than a big Cuban breakfast. Head out to Hialeah for a most authentic experience at Morro Castle, and revive yourself with a Cafecíto and Cuban toast. Once you’ve sufficiently cleared the cobwebs, get some grooming in at The Spot Barbershop in Doral. You’ll get the full, hot-towel-and-straight-razor treatment, complete with beer, wine and cocktails to get you going for the rest of the day.

Afternoon

After relaxing at Spot, it’s time to ramp the day back up. Head downtown and get the blood pumping at Axe Habits, where your boys compete to see who tosses axes best. Save your appetite for lunch, because after axe throwing, you’ll be soaking up some sun on the front patio of J Wakefield Brewery in Wynwood. The city’s top brewery is also home to Ted’s Burgers, a smash-hit burger sensation that’s already topping lists of the city’s best.

After lunch, it’s time to explore Little Havana – which, obviously, means you’ll need a cigar in hand. Stop into the Little Havana Cigar Factory and see how the stogies are made. Then pick one out from their massive humidor and stroll the streets like a boss.

Evening

For dinner, it’s on to Historic Overtown and Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster. While his trademark cornbread and fried chicken are a must, take some time to walk around this old billiard hall and learn this history of Miami’s most historic Black neighborhood. Dance off some of your dinner at The Dirty Rabbit, where reggaeton beats and lively locals will keep you there later than you expected. If you don’t want the night to end, E11even isn’t too far away, and it never closes. If you’re looking for an end-of-the-night snack, the fresh baguette sandwiches at La Sandwicherie in Wynwood are available until 5 am.

Day Three: Sports Extravaganza

Morning

After a lot of eating, and even more drinking, it’s time for you and your boys to have some active time. But not before croquetas. Experience the creamy, greasy goodness at Dos Croquetas, and make sure to wash it down with a Cuban coffee. You’ll need the energy for your morning at Top Golf, where your crew will see who drives furthest and best, with beers and cocktails in hand.

Afternoon

It’s Sunday, so if the Dolphins are playing at home head to Hard Rock Stadium and catch a game in person. Tickets are surprisingly easy to find, and the lots are filled with welcoming tailgates to help you get a feel for what football means to South Florida. Tailgate food not for you? That’s cool, Sunday’s Eatery isn’t far and has one of the best, under-the-radar brunches in Miami.

If it’s baseball season, you can watch the Miami Marlins at loanDepot park. The stadium has a retractable roof, so there’s no risk of getting rained out or getting more sun than you’d like. The ballpark has a pretty solid sampling of local food, but if you’re not trying to pay stadium prices, get your Cuban sandwich fix at Pinolandia or Sanguich de Miami, both less than ten minutes away.

Evening

Watching the big leaguers will get your group inspired to see how you measure up, so after the ballgame, hit the cages at HitZone in Tropical Park. Once you’re tired out, relax by the water and watch some more games at American Social in Brickell. And as the sun sets over the Miami River and the boats troll in after a long day on the bar, you’ll absorb the colors of the city and realize you made the most of your guys’ weekend in Miami.
