Escapology Opens in Orlando: Experience Immersive Escape Rooms on International Drive

Get the latest on Orlando’s newest escape adventure: Escapology.

Nestled on International Drive within Piazza Roma Shopping Plaza, Escapology offers a historic ambiance with antique décor and wall‑mounted maps, setting the stage for thrilling teamwork.

Comfortable leather couches and a head escapologist guide teams of up to five players through a 60‑minute challenge to uncover clues, solve puzzles, and unlock the final door.

Escapology has developed seven distinct games: Antidote, Budapest Express, Cuban Crisis, Th3 Cod3, Mansion Murder, Narco, and Under Pressure. We chose Cuban Crisis, a realistic take on the Cuban Missile Crisis.

After watching an introductory video, we received a briefing: infiltrate Fidel Castro’s compound and secure top‑secret intel before his return in one hour. With a key hidden inside the room, we were locked in and began scouting for clues hidden among boxes, maps, and various objects.

Working in teams proved essential—when one path hit a dead end, a fresh pair of eyes often uncovered a new angle. Our head escapologist observed from outside via video and provided timely nudges when needed.

We successfully escaped just minutes before Fidel’s return, having solved each room’s puzzles and enjoyed a collaborative, exhilarating hour.

A great way to spend an hour!
