Mickey’s Not‑So‑Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World® Resort

Children are invited to dress in costume to fully enjoy the themed trick‑or‑treat trail, which includes numerous allergy‑free options, during the specially ticketed Mickey’s Not‑So‑Scary Halloween Party on select nights through November 1 at Walt Disney World Resort. Featuring Mickey, Minnie, and their friends, the event transforms Magic Kingdom® Park with jack‑o‑lanterns, not‑so‑scary surprises, and spirited entertainment for the whole family.

New for 2019, follow the treat trail into Monster World at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor to experience fresh interactions with the resident creatures. This year’s edition also features brand‑new, evening‑ending fireworks courtesy of Disney’s Not‑So‑Spooky Spectacular! Hosted by Jack Skellington, the show follows Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald as they trick‑or‑treat through a mysterious haunted house, accompanied by state‑of‑the‑art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks.

This year’s returning favorites include Mickey’s Boo to You Parade, where you’ll see Mickey and Minnie in new Halloween outfits, and the Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular castle stage show. Special attraction experiences are also available for Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain, among other reasons to include this party in your family’s Halloween plans.

SeaWorld® Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular

During SeaWorld Orlando’s family‑friendly Halloween Spooktacular, your family can join favorite Sesame Street® characters such as Count von Count, Elmo, Big Bird, and the gang as they celebrate the season in the park’s all‑new Sesame Street Halloween Parade. You can also enjoy a Halloween Dance Party and meet spooky characters along the new trick‑or‑treat trail.

For this special event, children are welcome to dress in their Halloween costumes and take part in the frightfully fun experience. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular takes place every weekend through October 27 and is included with park admission.

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort

Build a Halloween celebration with all fun and no frights at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort’s Brick or Treat, which runs on weekends through October 27 and is included with park admission. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes and pick up a free Brick or Treat bag, which can be used to collect candy on the Brick or Treat Trail.

You can also enjoy meet‑and‑greets with exclusive LEGO® characters like Lord Vampyre and Rockin’ Frankenstein, plus the Monster Bash Dance Party, LEGO® Halloween decorations, and a Brick or Treat Scavenger Hunt. Seasonal treats include Candy Crypt Cannoli, Granny’s Harvest Apple Fries a la Mode, Pumpkin Pie Eclair, and Spooky Kooky Churros. Each night concludes with special 3‑D fireworks that look like exploding LEGO bricks.

On Saturday, October 12, participate in LEGOLAND Florida’s Brick Dash 5K—a Halloween‑themed run that raises money for Merlin’s Magic Wand. Show up in your spooky costume for a hauntingly good time!

Trick‑or‑Treat Throughout Orlando

Screamin’ Green Hauntoween

Get into the ghoulish spirit at Crayola Experience at The Florida Mall. Held daily from September 21 to October 31 and included with admission, the event offers monster‑iffic crafts, spooky happenings such as dance parties and themed scavenger hunts, and on weekends, trick‑or‑treating. October 27 also features Crayola Experience’s ongoing "Sensory Sunday" program for kids with special sensory needs and their families.

Zoo Boo Bash

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 26, Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford—about 25 minutes north of downtown Orlando—offers a truly wild Halloween. Kids can wear costumes and enjoy trick‑or‑treating, an interactive bubble show, a special reading of Skeletons in the Closet, crafts, activities, daily costume contests, and more, all included with zoo admission.

Mall‑O‑Ween

Head to The Florida Mall®—about 20 minutes from SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort—for this free evening of fun. Held in the mall’s Center Court on October 31 from 4–7 p.m., it features face‑painting, music, a photo booth, special characters, and many retailers offering free candy or non‑food items.

Avalon Park Spooktacular

This free event invites children and parents to an evening of trick‑or‑treating, prizes, and Halloween activities. It takes place from 5–9 p.m. on October 26 at downtown Avalon Park, about 25 minutes east of downtown Orlando. Avalon Park West hosts a simultaneous Spooktacular. The event is located roughly one hour southwest of Walt Disney World Resort.

Halloween at Crane’s Roost Park

From 5–9 p.m. on October 31, this free, community‑oriented celebration features local businesses handing out candy and other goodies to approximately 15 000 kids. Held at Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs—about 20 minutes north of downtown Orlando—it also includes a costume contest, live music, dance performances, and kids’ activities, with food and beverages available for purchase.

Spooky Hollow

On October 31, the city of Sanford and its downtown merchants invite kids 12 and under, along with their parents, to trick‑or‑treat in Magnolia Square from 6–8 p.m. Costume contests by age group will take place at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and carnival games, prizes, and other surprises will also be available.
