The Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs, which opened in November 2017, is ideally situated just off North Palm Canyon Drive, anchoring the downtown Palm Springs redevelopment project. This seven-story hotel features a rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar with breathtaking views of the Coachella Valley and sleek modern design. It offers 153 rooms, two chef-driven restaurants, two bars, and a penthouse event space.

Ground-level Juniper Table, accessible from the lobby, serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with seasonal, organic ingredients. The elevated casual menu is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including house-made bakery items, fresh juices, a full barista program with Joshua Tree Coffee Co., shareable snacks, salads, sandwiches, pasta entrées, and desserts.

The rooftop 4 Saints restaurant, led by Executive Chef Stephen Wambach, provides fine dining with global flavors in a chic interior and patio overlooking the San Jacinto Mountains and valley.

The seasonal menu highlights dishes like Hamachi Crudo with tangerine, yuzu, fennel, and dill; Ricotta Cavatelli with smoked lamb, matsutake, chestnut, caraway, and puffed rye; and Baja Kampachi with porcini, leek, dill, wild juniper, and sorrel. Chef Wambach forages wild juniper in the high desert for authentic local touches.

Hotel Paseo
This spring, Hotel Paseo, an Autograph Collection Hotel, opened in Palm Desert's vibrant El Paseo shopping and dining district—the area's first boutique hotel.

While Kimpton Rowan and Hotel Paseo are new builds, The Sands in Indian Wells is a masterful renovation of a midcentury property next to the iconic The Nest nightlife and dining spot.
