Sip & Shop: Cedar Springs' First Wednesday Wine Walk

The Cedar Springs district is not only the heart of Dallas' LGBT community but also a hub of diverse boutiques, eateries, and cultural venues. For wine aficionados, Cedar Springs elevates Wednesdays with its signature wine walk.

Organized by the Cedar Springs Merchant Association, the First Wednesday Wine Walk convenes on the first Wednesday of each month. Start at the Round‑Up Saloon and stroll down The Strip, sampling local wines while exploring shops, bars, and restaurants.

The route features a range of destinations: Out of the Closet, a thrift store that donates proceeds to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation; ES Collection, Dallas’ sole U.S. location of this Barcelona‑based men’s boutique offering swimwear, casual and athletic apparel; and Hunky’s, a beloved spot for fried pickles and a spacious, tree‑lined patio ideal for people‑watching.

Finish your evening at JR’s Bar & Grill, a Cedar Springs staple known for its cocktails, craft beers, and an inviting outdoor deck.
