Deep Ellum Arts Festival
Sept. 10–12 • 2900 Main Street
This September, Deep Ellum’s Main Street becomes a vibrant canvas, hosting 200 visual artists and 100 musicians across seven blocks. Sculptors, muralists, jewelers, painters, leather and wood craftsmen will showcase their creations, and you might even witness a one‑of‑a‑kind piece being born live.
After immersing yourself in the visual feast, head to one of the four stages for music that captures Deep Ellum’s eclectic spirit. Recharge at the surrounding food stalls featuring Mexican, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian, and American cuisine.
Pitbull & Iggy Azalea
Sept. 11 • Dos Equis Pavilion
Mr. Worldwide brings his Latin‑style hip‑hop to the Dos Equis Pavilion, joined by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea for the “I Feel Good” tour. Expect nonstop high‑energy dancing.
The Eagles
Sept. 20–21 • American Airlines Center
Legendary rockers The Eagles will perform classics like “Hotel California,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Desperado.” Deacon Frey and Vince Gill will join original members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit for two consecutive nights.
Brooks & Dunn
Sept. 21 • Dos Equis Pavilion
Country icons Brooks & Dunn return for their first nationwide tour in a decade. Expect “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and line‑dancing nights.
Big Freedia
Oct. 7 • Granada Theater
New Orleans bounce queen Big Freedia delivers high‑energy bounce music, promising a booty‑shakin’ good time.
Dead and Company
Oct. 14 • Dos Equis Pavilion
Former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzman reunite to bring psychedelic improvisation to Deadheads during the “What a Long Strange Trip It Has Been” tour.
Ben Folds with Dallas Symphony Orchestra
Oct. 22–24 • Meyerson Symphony Center
Ben Folds, renowned for his genre‑bending catalog, performs with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated with world‑class orchestras and served as Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.

Oct. 30 • Dos Equis Pavilion
Hard‑rock enthusiasts unite for a head‑banging Halloween weekend. Slipknot’s live shows are known for their visceral intensity.
World Food Championships
Nov. 5–7 • Fair Park
After a fall of dancing and music, food takes center stage. Over 1,500 chefs compete in a culinary cook‑off that BC News calls the “Olympics of Food,” featuring everything from “Grilling Grannies” to barbecue battles.
