Curated Links We Love: March 19, 2016 Edition

What we were clicking on and talking about this week at #FathomHQ.

Finding a peaceful work space for a meeting or quiet break can be near impossible in a city like New York. Our pals at The Sill recently partnered with the Breather app to decorate an on-demand botanical sanctuary called The Oasis. I'd gladly pay the $66/hour fee to spend an afternoon working in the dreamy Flatiron District space. – Berit, editor

Bourbon and baby oil to carry, typewriter and house key to pack. Those are highlights from Joan Didion's packing list from the 1970s. – Pavia, CEO

Since I've decided to avoid takeout for Lent, there's been office talk about preparing home-cooked grain and vegetable bowls for lunch. It's simple, they say. Well, this is what happens when New York City institutions turn their iconic food into healthy power bowls. – Daniel, editorial assistant

Exciting museum news this weekend! The Met Breuer, the museum's new modern and contemporary art program in the old Whitney building, is now open. As is Isaac Mizrahi's colorful retrospective at The Jewish Museum. – Becky, assistant editor

Impressed and delighted by the awesome selection of indie food and kitchenware Nordstrom is featuring in the latest edition of their monthly pop-in shop. Pulse Roasted Chickpeas and Knot & Bow are two I can vouch for, while Milkuni Wild Harvesti and Raft are two I've never heard of and have to try. – Berit

You know what's fun and kind of weird? Scrolling through these stock photos from the 1950s. They're so cheesy they're actually scary. – Daniel

Impressed with my dinner at Insa in Brooklyn last week, I was psyched to see it earn two stars from the New York Times and feature in Tasting Table's look at the next generation of Korean BBQ restaurants in the USA. – Pavia

Berlin has a textile butchery. Just in case you ever wanted a salumi neck pillow. Love it. – Becky
