A New Kind of Art Gallery in the Jungles of Tulum

I'm a fan of contemporary art, but the spaces in which they're shown — sterile, white box galleries — don't really do much for me. The new IK LAB Gallery, which opened in April at Azulik, an ecological resort in Tulum, is another story. Conceived by Santiago Rumney Guggenheim of the storied art family, the space is a visual wonderland of organic forms supported on stilts above the forest floor, hanging in balance with nature around it — a work of art in and of itself. It goes without saying that, in this kind of space, the inaugural exhibitions are equally as captivating. – Daniel, Fathom editor

One More Reason to Go to Montana

One of these days, I'll get to Montana. And when I do, I'll head straight for Sage Lodge, which just opened along the Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley. I might even give fly fishing a try. — Pavia, CEO

A Franciscan Island in Venice With No Tourists

Not all of Venice is packed with tourists. San Francesco del Deserto, an island in the North Lagoon, is located near Burano and Torcello but isn't accessible by public transport. You need to book a private boat from one of the two islands for that. It’s been inhabited by Franciscan priests since 1230, who live their life between prayer and agricultural activities and who also guide visitors during the week. – Annamaria, Spotted by Locals
