The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Opera
For over 50 years, the Santa Fe Opera has brought the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to life. Since 1957, it has delivered world-class performances, including timeless classics and world premieres. The acoustically superior and visually stunning amphitheater hosts five operas each summer, with one always featuring an American or world premiere. Parking opens three hours before curtain, perfect for tailgate picnics amid breathtaking sunsets. Pre-order sampler platters or full dinners—no cooking required.

Red, White, and Blue Celebration
Locals know the Fourth of July in Santa Fe means Pancakes on the Plaza, now in its 40th year. Enjoy fluffy pancakes, live music, and a classic car show—a perfect patriotic tribute. Proceeds benefit the community, making it a cherished tradition.

Bandstand Beats
Santa Fe Bandstand features 80 musical performances starting July 7 on the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Enjoy local, regional, and national acts. Dance enthusiasts, bring your shoes for the plaza dance-a-thon. Produced by the nonprofit Outside In Productions, which also brings arts to shelters, treatment facilities, and nursing homes.

Picnic on a Hill and Dance Along
St. John’s College hosts the 10th anniversary of Music on the Hill™ concert series. Local, national, and international bands deliver blues, classic rock, world music, and jazz every Wednesday: July 8, 15, and 22. Bring your picnic or purchase refreshments on-site.
